# Chick'n Chicken

> Chick'n Chicken (darmowa gra multiplayer z kurczakami w przeglądarce) is a free 2.5D multiplayer browser game where you play as a chicken. There is no account and nothing to download: open https://chick.pablogfx.com/ on a phone or a computer and join other players in one shared world. Play chicken football, drive vehicles, race, fight in karate, dance in a disco and explore an endless world. The game is Polish first and also speaks English, Ukrainian, German and Spanish (picked from the browser language, or forced with ?lang=en, ?lang=uk, ?lang=de, ?lang=es); a few texts are still Polish only. It can be installed as an app (PWA).

## Features

- Football with chickens: a pitch with goals; the ball is simulated on the server, so every player sees the same bounces and goals.
- Pecking grains, growing fat and leaving droppings: each one is bigger than the last, and eating it makes the chicken grow.
- Kurnik Club: a disco in a cave with lights that react to the music and parody band posters.
- Launch trampolines that shoot a chicken up to the roof of the world, where an endless, procedurally generated expedition begins (coins, checkpoints, distance records).
- Biomes: meadow, forest, beach, a sea where chickens swim, desert, snowy mountains and stranger worlds further out.
- Eight vehicles: buggy, monster truck, sports car, tractor, tow truck with a hook, tank that fires shells, helicopter and plane, with damage after collisions. Racing through gates with lap records.
- Karate: wing strikes, kicks and combos, with belts from white to black.
- Clothes shop with 800 items: 200 hats, 200 shirts, 200 pairs of shorts and 200 pairs of shoes. Other players see your outfit.
- Graffiti wall with a painting mode, egg blasters, and earthquakes (shake the phone or press Q).
- Push-to-talk voice chat with nearby players only. There is no text chat.
- Live weather and day/night based on the player's location.
- Free, no account, works on phones and computers, installable as a PWA.

## How to play

1. Open https://chick.pablogfx.com/ in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge on a phone or a computer. No account or installation is needed.
2. Wait a moment for the game to load. Your chicken appears and other players are visible in the same world.
3. Run, flap your wings (hold and release), peck grains, kick the ball and walk up to vehicles.
4. Invite friends with the "+ DODAJ GRACZA" button, which shares a link to the game. Meet on the pitch or in Kurnik Club.
5. Optional: install it as an app with the browser's install option or the in-game button. On iPhone choose Share, then Add to Home Screen.

## Controls

Desktop keyboard:

- A / D or arrow left / right: run left and right
- W / S or arrow up / down: neck (W) and crouch (S)
- Space: flap wings (hold and release; a longer hold means a stronger flap)
- Ctrl: peck grains
- E: kick (hold to charge the power)
- F: get into and out of a vehicle
- Q: earthquake
- V: voice chat (push-to-talk)
- M: sound mode
- J: wing strike (karate)
- K: karate kick

Phone (touch):

- Joystick on the left: left and right to run, up to stretch the neck, down to crouch
- Buttons on the right: flap wings (hold and release), peck, kick (hold to charge), microphone (push-to-talk)
- Button above the joystick: sound mode
- Vehicle buttons appear next to a vehicle (get in; inside: fire, horn, radio, get out)
- Shake the phone: earthquake
- Karate moves have their own on-screen buttons

## Privacy and safety

- No accounts, passwords or email. No text chat.
- The microphone is used only while the push-to-talk button is held and only after the browser permission is granted; only players near your chicken hear you.
- Weather: the game asks the browser for location. Without permission it uses an approximate location from the IP address (geojs.io) or defaults to Warsaw. Weather comes from Open-Meteo and the place name from OpenStreetMap Nominatim. The location is not sent to the game server.
- Player statistics are anonymous and aggregated: how many players were online and when, with no IP addresses and no player identifiers.
- The game has no official age rating; parents are best placed to judge whether it suits their child.
